Tested crack sealing materials, equipment and applications extensively during a five-year evaluation, and the
result was that “the best performing sealant is a polymer –modified sealant that actually “relaxes” during full
extension. This technique places less tension or stress on the bond of the sealant to the sidewalls of the crack and
results in longer lasting sealants. The latest generation of polymer modifiers actually exceed the current minimum
test minimums set by ASTM and AASHTO. Polymer Sealants last longer and continue to perform.”

Pavement Protection System consists of using EBS which is a polymer composite overlay and sealing method that
significantly extends the life of asphalt pavement. An EBS Surface Seal provides a durable micro layer that is high
strength, provides flexibility and is UV resistant. This layer ensures that the surface has no porosity, and hence
protects the pavement from the formation of “alligator cracking”. This polymer sealant is unaffected by the main
causes of asphalt destruction, it is not affected by water, UV rays, oxidation, vehicular wear and tear, or
hydrocarbons (oil, fuel and hydraulic fluids).
This method of micro layer surfacing was developed to address long-term pavement preservation and reduce
required maintenance. These factors allow for a far more sustainable reduced maintenance and cost model of
the life span of a road.
The micro-layer is made up of millions of
polymer nano molecules that create a bi-poly
lattice that seals the surface with a protective
layer
This protective layer can be applied in single or multiple layers for added
thickness and protection for extreme use and weather conditions.
The material for the layer is comprised of our highly advanced EBS
Nano-polymer Modifier, which may be used independently or in
conjunction with a small amount of cement and/or a unique blend
of engineered aggregates, depending on the application.
