Advantages and Features of the EBS Pavement Protection System

þ Incorporates the use of EBS which is a Water Resistant Polymer Modifier.
þ EBS Sealant actually “relaxes” during full extension. This technique places less tension or stress
on the bond sealant on the sidewalls of the crack and results in longer lasting sealant bonds.
þ Cold Mixes do not bond with the sidewalls and do not provide a water resistant seal and at
best only provide a very temporary solution.
þ Hot asphalt does not have the total compression
to provide a water resistant seal.
