The most rewarding part of our business is giving back to those communities in need. We have various initiatives that we run and have also focused on helping communities during COVID-19. Our most notable initiative is the Totes for Transformation community upliftment add-on.

Totes for Transformation

Transforming Communities one IBC Tote at a time.

Soil Solutions have embarked on an initiative to uplift communities in areas where we execute EBS projects. When implementing projects using EBS, we will use the empty IBC totes (that we transport EBS in) to uplift and transform the surrounding communities. Very often our projects are in rural or hard to reach areas, each community has its own set of challenges. Our Totes for Transformation projects tailor makes the solutions for the community to ensure they are getting the most benefit out of the project.

Covid-19 Initiatives

How can you help during the pandemic?

The COVID-19 pandemic is having far-reaching effects on people and communities as lockdowns are extended. Many of those that are most affected are living in informal settlements and do not have access to sanitation. Their livelihoods are greatly impacted due to businesses closing to reduce the spread. Soil Solutions always has a Community first approach and believe that it is our responsibility as a community to uplift and help those that are in need.

Soil Solutions reached out to the Daily Bread Org, a registered NGO. Daily Bread Org run charity initiatives throughout the year. They are currently focusing on distributing Hand sanitizer, food, and basic amenities to local communities. Alexander, Kya Sands & Msawawa Settlements of the Northern Suburbs of JHB are their current focus. Our first donation of Hand Sanitizers was delivered today.
